Industrial and Educational Chaplains is the broadest of all areas in the Deanery. Everything from Prison to Corporate, Factory to University is covered in this area.

 

 

 

 

General Requirements to serve in the Chaplaincy...

 

  1. Ordained and/or licensed to minister with CANA.

  2. Background and training commensurate for position held.
  3. (All Chaplains) Must complete three (3) hours of Continuing Education related to your position each Calendar year. Verification is due to the Deanery by December 15th.

Volunteer Chaplains may also receive endorsement...

  1. The endorsement will validate your good standing in CANA and will indicate it is not an endorsement to be a vocational (paid) chaplain.
  2. Generally, the following will be required...
  • Must be registered as ordained clergy with CANA
  • Must agree to submit a quarterly report on chaplain activities
  • Must remain in good standing with CANA
  • Must complete three (3) hours of Continuing Education related to your position each Calendar year. Verification is due to the Deanery by December 1st each year
